“A role-playing game covering syndicates, police, federal agencies, criminal activities, police technology, criminal skills, weapons of all sorts, police techniques, profitability of crimes, corruption of officials, terrorists, police special units, hostage situations, laws, forensic sciences, the F.B.I. and its laboratories, SWAT teams, and inter-gang conflicts.
Included in this box are complete rules for the game of GANGSTER! (MINT condition), a Patrol Guide to fully explain police procedures and the services available from the F.B.I. laboratories, the laws of the land, summary charts of the basic tables needed for play (NEAR MINT), and a sample character reference sheet suitable for ‘xeroxing’ (NEAR MINT).
Players must provide paper, pencils, a twenty-sided die, three six-sided (normal) dice, and optionally, miniature figures to represent the various characters created in the game. The most important component provided by the players and Gamemaster is Imagination.
Relive the events of the era of prohibition. Mob versus mob and mobs versus the law enforcement agencies.
React to a terrorist attack on an airport. Deal with hostage negotiations or with criminal expansion into the city for which you are responsible.
Commit crimes and build a criminal organisation. Try to expand your territory and gain control of new rackets.”
1979 RPG from Fantasy Games Unlimited, originally a boxed set. This copy includes the softback rulebook (GOOD condition), and the charts card of basic tables (GOOD), but the Patrol Guide, Sample Character Sheet and Box are all MISSING.
